Zumba Dance Workout for Weight Loss
This is a great routine if you want a quick, energizing blast of Zumba or are looking for a Zumba routine to combine with others to make a longer workout. It’s only 3.51 minutes long but in that time, you’ll definitely get every part of your body moving.
Newsflash – my heart was pumping and my circulation fired up after doing this. It’s a deceptively simple routine and the instructor makes it look very easy, but a beginner might need several goes before getting all the steps.
The video is no-frills with no distractions. There’s just an instructor in a studio setting, with two backing dancers of different abilities supporting her.[responsive_video type=’youtube’ hide_related=’1′ hide_logo=’0′ hide_controls=’0′ hide_title=’0′ hide_fullscreen=’1′ autoplay=’0′]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRkNfdlm5Qs[/responsive_video]
The instructor and backing dancers change their position 3 times in the course of the video.
This mixes it up and keeps it feeling fresh, even though it’s such a simple video. This also means that, because there’s repetition in the choreography, you can see the moves from different angles.
It immediately counteracts sedentary sluggishness, which felt instantly gratifying. The part of the routine with arms above the head amps up the cardio aspect, without being too exhausting.
I really enjoyed it and because it’s short, it’s manageable, but you’ll still feel that awesome Zumba buzz.
Zumba Dance Workout for Beginners Step by Step with Music
Admittedly, it’s ambitious to describe this video as for beginners as these Zumba workouts are high energy and fast paced.
The instructors are in studios full of other Zumba dancers. This makes it feel like being in a real class and contributes to the good vibes, as everyone is smiling and looking like they’re genuinely having a blast.
The choreography synchronizes complex arm movements with hip shaking. In the first routine, the camera work has the instructor in the foreground, which simplifies matters, but in the second routine, the camera roams around, from different angles.
The music for the second routine made me feel like I was at Carnival in Rio. This feeling was reinforced by the actual dance moves, which are all about shaking your stuff.[responsive_video type=’youtube’ hide_related=’1′ hide_logo=’0′ hide_controls=’0′ hide_title=’0′ hide_fullscreen=’1′ autoplay=’0′]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EIzQHdO_d4[/responsive_video]
So if you’re feeling a little down or blue, this second routine is an absolutely fantastic way to change your mood. And it’ll definitely make you break a sweat, even if you’re at the fitter end of the spectrum.
The 3rd and 4th routines are a little shorter and easier, although the sound quality in the 3rd video is slightly compromised. By the 4th video, I really felt I was getting into the groove.
Boom Boom by Black Eye Peas Zumba Routine
This is a Zumba routine if you haven’t got much physical room to move. Apart from a few jumps to the side and step taps, the routine keeps the feet static in the same position, which makes it great if you’re in a confined space.
The Black Eye Peas track with its electro beats is a great Zumba song and the routine is choreographed to exploit the rhythm – you’ll find yourself punching along in time to the beat.
There are a lot of plié squats, so even though it may be slightly less cardio than other routines, you’ll feel the benefits in your glutes, quads and hamstrings.
Overall, this Zumba video feels the high vibe, with good quality instruction. In a studio setting, with other Zumba background dancers, it’s hard not to notice how everyone seems really into their Zumba!
In a nutshell, by the end of this 4.09-minute routine, it wasn’t just the beat that was pumping. I could feel my heart and metabolism both getting fired up. Not to be missed.[responsive_video type=’youtube’ hide_related=’1′ hide_logo=’0′ hide_controls=’0′ hide_title=’0′ hide_fullscreen=’1′ autoplay=’0′]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtZop9VA9Uc[/responsive_video]
Rain Over Me Zumba
This is by far the most club-ey track and Zumba routine in this particular selection of Zumba videos. At just under 4 minutes long, this workout packs a lot in.
This is because the choreography is composed of slinky moves that’ll get you in touch with your inner goddess. There’s less of an emphasis on fitness and more on dance in this routine, and because it’s is well balanced, it makes it one of the easier routines to pick up.
The video is filmed in a glamourous looking studio and the way it’s filmed makes it easy to follow the moves.
What it all boils down to in life is people wanting to feel their best. Zumba is a natural high and if you’re feeling jaded or lacklustre, with this youthful and sexy routine you’ll feel rejuvenated and re-energized again in absolutely no time at all.[responsive_video type=’youtube’ hide_related=’1′ hide_logo=’0′ hide_controls=’0′ hide_title=’0′ hide_fullscreen=’1′ autoplay=’0′]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZB6XIkfxnQ[/responsive_video]
Fitness Master Class – Zumba avec Jessica Mallet
As proof that Zumba is a truly global phenomenon, check out this French-speaking Zumba video.
Even if you don’t speak French, you’ll understand the universal language of Zumba because the routines are clear and the instructor demonstrates in a way to make it easy to understand what’s happening.
The format’s slightly different in that it’s one Zumba instructor with one student following her lead. So there’s a bit of chat at the beginning of the video before the actual Zumba starts.
Once the routines get going, it’s pretty much non-stop Zumba. There are four tracks and the routines are fast paced but not too complicated, although there are some more advanced arm moves that might take some practice.
What’s particularly great about this video is that sometimes the screen splits and, for example, focuses on the instructor’s feet, which means that you have the option to watch either the whole movement or an isolated part of it.
By doing this one, you’ll definitely feel your fitness levels increasing even though it’s only 18 minutes long in total. Another high-quality Zumba video to get you moving and feeling great.[responsive_video type=’youtube’ hide_related=’1′ hide_logo=’0′ hide_controls=’0′ hide_title=’0′ hide_fullscreen=’1′ autoplay=’0′]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1N-n1KEivbo[/responsive_video]
